What is Vectorguard AI?

Vectorguard AI is an AI-powered vulnerability scanning platform that finds what actually matters — and tells you exactly what to do about it. No dashboards full of alerts. No guesswork. Just real, actionable findings.

The platform runs a set of security tools against your target, analyses the results using our own sovereign reasoning engine, and delivers a structured report with evidence, explanation, and confidence scoring. Your scan data never leaves our infrastructure, meaning it is not shared with third-party services.

How it works

The process is straightforward and consists of three steps:

1. Scan the target — The system runs security tools to identify exposed services and potential vulnerabilities.
2. Analyse the results — Raw outputs are processed and structured into meaningful findings by our AI reasoning engine.
3. Generate the report — You receive a clear report with evidence, explanation, and a confidence score for each finding.

Each finding includes a clear description of the issue, supporting evidence, an explanation of why it matters, and a recommended next step. Findings are prioritised by severity, so you know immediately what needs attention and what can be deprioritised.

Why we built it

Most vulnerability scanners produce long lists of alerts that are difficult to interpret. Teams spend valuable time analysing raw results rather than acting on them. Vectorguard focuses on clarity — reducing the time spent interpreting results and helping you focus on what actually needs to be fixed.

The platform is developed as part of the Jane Foundation, which is structured to ensure that security tools remain accessible to those who need them. It is free for individuals, small businesses, and NGOs. Its development is supported through contributions, allowing professional-grade security analysis to be made available without relying on data monetisation and without requiring the kind of budgets that many smaller organisations simply do not have.

What has shipped so far

Since the initial testing release in October 2025, the platform has seen continuous improvement:

• Confidence scoring so you know how much to trust each result
• Multi-factor authentication enforced for all users
• Email notifications and a streamlined scan submission experience
• Improved PDF report templates and a decluttered scan interface

The alpha version became available on production in December 2025, and the platform has been iterated on steadily since.
